Chief Warrant Officer 4 Thomas F. Oroho, D Company commander, 12th Aviation Battalion, received the Soldier's Medal from Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, chief of staff of the Army, Nov. 1, 2013, at Davison Army Air Field, Va., for helping rescue two people who were drowning.
