Recognizing the enormous impact a massive natural disaster would have on the heavily populated city of Kathmandu, Nepal, and the critical need for civil-military preparedness, the Nepalese Army and U.S. Army Pacific proactively conducted the Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange, Sept. 9-12, 2013, marking the first of its kind in Nepal to include a practical field training evolution.
