Alongside current tensions and upheavals in the Middle East and northern Africa in the wake of the Arab Spring movements, the peacekeeping mission on the Sinai Peninsula continues after more than 30 years. Soldiers of the 5-113th Field Artillery are deploying to the Sinai for a year as Multinational Force Observers.
