Spc. Shane Coley, with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, won the 2012 United States Practical Shooting Association open division national championship, Oct. 19, 2012, at the Desert Sportsman's Rifle and Pistol Club in Las Vegas. Coley won his first national championship and, at the age of 21, became the youngest champion in the sport's history.
