The Scranton Army Ammunition Plant won the Secretary of the Army Environmental Award for Sustainability by using technology and best practices to reduce and reuse water, improve air emissions in the production facility, reduce hazardous materials by evaluating the latest technology and engaging in multiple energy efficiency projects.
