The annual open-post Cherry Blossom Festival at Camp Zama, Japan, which drew more than 28,000 visitors April 7, 2012, coincided with the 100-year anniversary of then-Tokyo Mayor Yukio Ozaki's gift to the city of Washington, D.C., of more than 3,000 cherry blossom trees.
