While Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) Increment 2, the Army's newest generation of its tactical communications network backbone, undergoes its operational test this spring, an upgraded version of its earlier counterpart, WIN-T Increment 1b, will also participate in the test to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability.
