It is with deep sadness that the Ministry of Defence must advise that Sergeant Nigel Coupe of 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment and Corporal Jake Hartley, Private Anthony Frampton, Private Christopher Kershaw, Private Daniel Wade and Private Daniel Wilford all of 3rd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment (Duke of Wellington’s Regiment) were killed on Tuesday 6 March 2012 whilst serving with Corunna Company, 3rd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment (Duke of Wellington’s) in Afghanistan.
