Secretary of the Army John McHugh visited Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines and the Armed Forces of the Philippines Western Mindanao Command June 7, 2011, to discuss strategic Philippine/US partnerships, and the importance of the “3Ds approach” -- diplomacy, development, and defense "to combating terrorism, and promoting peace and stability, in southern Mindanao.
