The 593rd Sustainment Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., is in the final planning stage of a new project, the Deployable Sustainment Task Force, which would be capable of moving personnel and equipment with just 96 hours of notice, to provide humanitarian relief in the event of a natural disaster.
