It is with sadness that the Ministry of Defence must announce that a soldier from the 2nd Battalion, The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham on 10 September 2010 as a result of injuries sustained in Afghanistan.
