Kabul, Afghanistan - Members of the U.S. National Support Element and the Resolute Support Headquarters Forward Support Battalion hang an American flag inside the compound barrier wall in preparation for the camp's Fourth of July cookout. About 1,300 U.S. military members and civilians live and work at the camp, a NATO base in Kabul, Afghanistan. The FSB Soldiers are from the Connecticut National Guard, while the NSE Soldiers are with the 3rd Infantry Division. Both groups provide support to the camp at RS Headquarters which will celebrate Independence Day with a cookout complete with steaks, burgers, hotdogs and sodas.
