The U.S. Army announced Dec. 23 that BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. was selected for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract for the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle.The AMPV is a replacement for many of the M113 armored personnel carrier in the coming years.
