SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt -- Troopers assigned to 1st Squadron (War Eagles,) 2nd Cavalry Regiment, received their Multinational Force and Observer (MFO) medals in a ceremony presided over by Maj. Gen. Denis Thompson, the MFO Force Commander, during the unit's deployment to the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt, May 5, 2016. The medal is an international military decoration that is awarded to all Soldiers supporting the MFO, regardless of nationality, and is awarded after 170 days of service.
