Over 35 NATO helicopters from the Polish 1st Army Aviation Brigade, 25th Air Cavalry Brigade and the U.S. 12th Combat Aviation Brigade "Task Force Griffin," participated in a battalion size air assault of over 400 Sky Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, during exercise exercise Anakonda 16 at the 21st Tactical Air Base in Swidwin, Poland, June 10-11.

Soldiers and Airmen came together to build confidence and proficiency during Hustler Trough III by engaging targets with integrated and synchronized mortars, artillery, infantry and joint fires at the Orogrande range complex. The weeklong exercise began May 23 with a rehearsal of concept drill followed by three days of live-fire. Hosted by 1st Armored Division, Hustler Trough is a biannual event held to train and expand understanding during joint operations.

Maple Resolve is a giant gathering of coalition forces. Over 6,000 Canadian troops, 1,200 American Soldiers, and approximately 150 members of the British military have all rendezvoused at a small camp named Wainwright. There they will have the opportunity hone their fighting skills by confronting conventional and hybrid threats in a joint, integrated, multinational environment. This year the exercise will last from May 23 to June 6.
