Joint Task Force Bravo's, or JTF-B Medical Element, or MEDEL, Joint Security Forces, and the 1-228th Aviation Regiment partnered with the Honduran Ministry of Health and the Honduran Military to provide medical care to more than 1,500 people over two days in Tipimuna and Auka, two remote villages in the Gracias a Dios region of Honduras, during a Medical Readiness Training Exercise, or MEDRETE, Dec. 15-18.

Soldiers from the 608th Engineer Detachment, Construction Management Team, 4th Resolute Support Sustainment Brigade have been spearheading retrograde missions all over Afghanistan. Their primary mission was to assist with the closing and transfers of Forward Operating Bases, manage and schedule de-scoping projects, and to provide guidance to higher headquarters during the resizing of all FOBs in Regional Commands South, Southwest, East, North, and in the capitol.
