Flood waters due to heavy rain closed roads, bridges and the Army post, Casmera Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, Nov. 1 and 2. The historic city, Vicenza, was was engulfed in muddy water several feet deep as the river topped its banks. U.S. personnel and Italians helped each other bail water out of homes and business and are helping each other clean up in the the aftermath.
